This was another radar
night mission, of course an excellent run. I had my finger on the bombs away
button about 20 seconds before “bombs away” and we hit some turbulence shaking
us and consequently causing me to release the bombs 20 seconds before time. The
bombs however hit the target area and chalked up another good run. No flak, no
fighters.
